Probate Estates

When someone dies without a Will (intestate) or with a Will (testate), a probate court case must be filed to marshal the assets and administer the estate. A Personal Representative, (PR or f/k/a executor) must be granted authority to act for the estate and carry out the terms of the Will. There are several steps and deadlines that can prove challenging, especially when grieving.
